Islands of Context: Finding Your Organization's True North

Jenn Lill, Director, Technology Strategy

In Homer's Odyssey, the hero's epic journey home relied on more than divine intervention at crucial moments. It was his wisdom, contextual understanding, and adaptability that ultimately brought him home to Ithaca. We too require something beyond technological marvels to discover our true north. Although AI offers powerful capabilities, it's our human ability to provide context and meaning that truly charts our course toward success. This session will explore why the hero of this journey isn't found in chat bots or cloud servers, but in the uniquely human capacity to create islands of understanding in an ocean of information.

Anchors of Innovation: Great Ideas and the Research that Reveals Them

Kathy Grunditz, Director, Brand Strategy,
and Zach Schloss, Director, UX Strategy

If you seek to uncover the truth, asking folks what they want is like navigating through a foggy sea—their decisions often aren't anchored in logic. Great ideas are like hidden treasures, discovered through keen observations. We must chart a course that accounts for the human tendency to make illogical and contradictory decisions. We'll show you how to craft a well-rounded approach that combines testing, surveys, and observable patterns, and we'll set sail with a few of our strategists' favorite tools to make those observations actionable.
